Robert Hawk focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on the following practice areas: construction law, insurance disputes and bad faith, personal injury, and complex litigation. Robert also serves in an advisory capacity to business owners and professionals.

Robert has been recognized as a South Carolina Rising Star® by Super Lawyers and as “Legal Elite” in the field of Construction by Charleston Business Magazine.

Robert serves on the Council of the South Carolina Bar’s Construction Law Section and as an Ambassador for the South Carolina Bar Foundation. He previously served on the Charleston County Bar Executive Committee, as a Roper St. Francis Foundation Fellow and on the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division Habitat for Humanity Wills Committee. He was a member of Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston Class of 2012.

Prior to law school, Robert served in the United States Peace Corps as a Small Business Development Advisor in Nicaragua.

Robert attended Davidson College where he received a degree in Economics. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
