Suzanne focuses her practice on civil litigation and pre-litigation dispute resolution. Whether advocating for a pre-suit resolution of disputes or protecting her clients’ interests after a lawsuit has already been filed, Suzanne has experience handling a wide range of litigation matters. She focuses primarily on construction defect, personal injury, and insurance coverage and bad faith claims. Suzanne is a member of the South Carolina Bar Construction Law Section.
In addition to practicing law with the Ethridge Law Group, Suzanne volunteers as a Rape Crisis Advocate with People Against Rape in Charleston. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Charleston School of Law and at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. She remains active in the advocacy programs at the Charleston School of Law by serving as a Moot Court coach and as a Co-Chair of the Charleston School of Law’s Advocates Fund. Suzanne is also an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Young Lawyers’ Division, the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, and the Charleston Lawyers Club.
Suzanne graduated from the Charleston School of Law, magna cum laude, where she served on the Executive Board of the Law Review and received the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Excellence In Trial Advocacy Award. Suzanne has been named a Presidential Scholar by the Medical University of South Carolina and has received the Charleston School of Law’s Giving Back Award for Outstanding Efforts in Public Service and Leadership.
Prior to law school, Suzanne earned her Masters degree, summa cum laude, in English Rhetoric and Composition (2010) and her Bachelors degree, summa cum laude, in English Literature from Salisbury University (2008).
