Jonathan is an Associate Attorney at Ethridge Law Group. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, including construction defect litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense.

Jonathan was born and raised in Ohio. He graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. He relocated to the Charleston area in 2010, where he taught eighth grade Mathematics prior to attending law school.

Jonathan attended law school at Charleston School of Law graduating Summa Cum Laude, finishing number one in his class. During law school, Jonathan served as the Managing Editor of the Charleston Law Review, where his journal article was chosen for publication. Jonathan also served as a member of the Moot Court Board, was selected for membership in the Presidential Honor Society, worked as an Academic Success Fellow, and served as a student member to the James L. Petigru, American Inn of Courts. While in law school, Jonathan earned several CALI Awards (for highest grade in the course) including in Legal Writing, Torts, Civil Procedure, Property, Contracts, Sales, Secured Transactions, Constitutional Law, Remedies, Criminal Procedure, and Wills Trusts and Estates.

Jonathan is admitted to the South Carolina Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. When not in the office, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, woodworking, and barbecuing.
